The team decides whether they need support and additional resources to accomplish a specific task. This stage is essential because people want more freedom in their decisions. The leader’s mistake would be to try to resolve all conflicts on their own.

There are several steps you can take to avoid getting stuck in the storming phase of group development.

2. Be inclusive.
3. Make sure everyone is heard.
4. Support all group members.

In order to see massive success during this stage, leaders need to take a back seat and not monitor and control their team constantly.
